Just for fun, I went through my mental archive of info for all the things that I have seen and done and experienced in the last 10 years. Mostly, I just wanted to see where I am compared to where I was, and if where I am was where I planned to be. And now, to the list.

1996	2006
I was 16 years old	I am 26 years old
I had a nifty little car	My car crapped out on me recently
I was in high school	I was in college
I was clean shaven	I have a rackish goatee
I was 6′ 1″ tall	I am 6′ 3″ tall
Skated constantly	Skate once in a while
Wanted to be an engineer	Im a web developer
Didnt want kids	Have (and want) 2 great kids
Didnt want to be married	Couldnt imagine not being married
Concerned with impressing the chicks	Concerned with impressing only 1 chick
Wanted to be rich	Still want to be rich
Subscribed to Transworld	Subscribe to Maxim
Drank Dr. Pepper like a fish drinks water	I have a coffee IV in my neck
What I knew could fill a book	What I dont know can fill an eternity
Only concern: beer money	Only concern: kids college money
Lived in California	Live in Oregon
Thought I would live forever	Death stalks me at every turn

So, a little different from the “then” and “now”. But I’m pretty happy with where I am (although some things could stand to change), but im mostly satisfied with the way things have turned out thus far.

Can you remember 10 years ago?

Here I was, quitetly going about my day, when all of the sudden I had an irresistable impulse to find out what happened to 2 very good friends of mine.

Just for shits and giggles, I looked them up on myspace. I not only found one of them, but they linked to the other friend I was looking for. I requested a friend link from them both, I would hope that they respond.

Its strange because my 2 friends have changed so much, yet all I see is the old friend that was there before. I wonder if they like Albertos rolled tacos still.

I guess Ill find out soon enought. Oh, and friends, if you are reading this, add me your damn friends list. If you cant tell from the profile, I’m pretty lonley here.
